Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how adhdtests.net handles information when you use the ADHD screening, learning materials, and resource library. The screening runs in your browser, while analytics, advertising, and external services may process limited technical information under their own policies.

The site uses your browser's localStorage so selected features can work across page visits. This information stays in the browser profile on your device unless you remove it.

  • adhdtests-theme stores your light or dark theme preference.
  • adhd-test-progress stores your screening answers, current question, and progress state so you can continue later.
  • adhd-test-latest stores your most recent answers, result category, and completion time so the latest result remains available on the device.

Your answers and score are calculated in your browser. The site does not send your individual screening answers to an adhdtests.net application backend or store them in an operator-managed account or database.

Local storage is not the same as anonymous or temporary storage. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to view locally retained data, and the latest result can remain after the browser is closed.

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use and performance. Google may use cookies or similar technologies and may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, referrer information, and interaction events. We do not intentionally send your individual screening answers to Google Analytics.

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements that help fund the free site. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and personalize ads where permitted and according to your settings. Advertising systems are operated by third parties and are subject to their own privacy practices.

The site and third-party services may place or read cookies and similar identifiers. You can delete localStorage and cookies through your browser, block cookies, use private browsing, or adjust Google's advertising settings. Blocking storage or scripts may affect theme persistence, saved screening progress, analytics, advertisements, or other features.

Third parties receive information according to the features you use and their own terms and privacy policies. Review those policies before providing information or making a purchase.

  • Amazon affiliate links, PDF source links, and other external websites receive information when you choose to visit them.

LocalStorage entries do not have an automatic expiry. Restarting the screening removes saved progress, but the latest-result entry may remain until it is replaced or you clear the site's stored data. Browser controls can remove all local data at any time.

Analytics and advertising data are retained by the relevant third parties under their policies and settings. adhdtests.net does not control those third-party retention periods.

We may update this policy when the site, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The version published on this page applies from the time it is posted.
